One of the most requested features is finally rolling out after this week's update.

One of the most requested features in Instagram Threads is finally here: the Following tab, which allows you to see only the people you follow. "Ask and ye shall receive," said CEO Mark Zuckerberg in a Threads post, quoting a user who requested the feature.

For those who have a stream to follow, we can make it appear and disappear by tapping the front page icon or the thread logo at the top of the page. Annoyingly, if you reopen the app after closing it completely, it reverts to the "For You" stream, which means you have to know where to look to bring up the next stream again - whether that's a bug or not remains to be seen.

According to a message posted by Zuckerberg on his Instagram feed, Threads has also added translations. To get a translation, tap the small button in the lower right corner of the topics post.

Thread launched with very bare features, and until now your feed has been filled exclusively with algorithm-determined posts from users and brands, whether you wanted it to be or not.
