How to find your Facebook username
You can find the correct Facebook username by logging into your Facebook account and then going to "Account" > "Settings & Privacy" > "General Account Settings" > "Username".
How much money will I receive as payment?
The size of each individual payment ultimately depends on how long each person has been a Facebook user and how many users file complaints early, the report's manager says.
Administrative and legal fees are initially deducted from the total to form a "net settlement fund" from which disbursements are made.
The amount each applicant receives is then determined by the duration of Facebook use and the total number of applicants. Each eligible applicant will be awarded "one point for each month" they had an activated Facebook account during that period. Once the total number of applicants and their points are determined along with the total amount of the settlement fund, each person receives a fixed amount multiplied by their total points.
You know the deadlines
Those who do not file a claim, refuse or oppose the settlement are automatically a party to the settlement, but are not entitled to payment if no claim is filed.
The deadline to submit a claim is August 25, 2023. A settlement hearing is scheduled for September 7, 2023 at 11:00 am. CDT.
