This includes the likes of Severed, Rocket Fist, Phantom Trigger, The King of Fighters 2000 and Ironcast. Gamers can also look forward to the release of Sonic Mania on Nintendo Switchnext week.
None can follow the likes of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, or Splatoon 2 in terms of hype, but they do help to provide more variety on the new console.
Severed is a little different from the other games as it’s only playable in handheld, something that isn’t very common-place on the Switch.
Most titles can also be played on your telly, although there are games where a touchscreen is required, making docking impossible.
“Take control of a one-armed warrior named Sasha, wielding a living sword on her journey through a nightmare world in search of her family,” the official Severed game description reads.
“Swipe-based touch controls will let you solve puzzles, find secrets, and do battle with a host of disturbing monsters.
“As the journey goes on, you’ll unlock new abilities, ascend an RPG-style upgrade tree, and tease apart the mysteries of the dark fantasy universe Sasha finds herself in.”
Severed is available to buy from the Nintendo eShop, like all the other titles mentioned above, costing around £13.49.
